This Introductory Intensive to Herbal Medicine is a weekend packed with fun filled, hands on learning and will include Medicine Making, Herbal First Aid and Herb Walks. You will see the herbs growing in the garden, learn how to identify and harvest your herbs, and then learn how to create healing herbal remedies in the Medicine Making part of the weekend.  You will come away from the workshop with practical useful information that will enable and empower you to use herbs in your everyday life for you and your family.  

 

The intensive is taught by Herbalist Amanda Howe who brings 30 years of experience as a Herbalist and teacher.  

Amanda has an MSc in Herbal Medicine, a passion for the magic and healing of medicinal plants, and a love for growing and gardening:)  

 

The weekend intensive takes place at Black Bear Herb School and Herb Garden in the historic and legendary Village of Cumberland situated on the edge of the rainforest on Vancouver Island.
